- Features: Create users, enable/disable users, set managers, create/delete teams, assign users to teams, assign security roles to users and teams, move users and teams between Business Units
- Online: Users sign in to Microsoft Online Subscription Program (MOSP) platform (replaces Live ID; includes Office 365 and Exchange Online)
- On-premises: Users have an AD account (or other authentication with IFD); CRM does not manage passwords or authentication
- User records: User information includes location, e-mail address, job title, manager
- Permission: Users can update their own user record if granted permission
- Teams: Can add to one or more teams
- Other: Cannot delete user accounts, but can disable them. If disabling, consider reassigning records, updating workflows.
